What Clients say

Beverly is an inspiring nutrition entrepreneur. I have taken various workshops with Beverly from yoga training to private practice and have learned valuable tools to help me in my nutrition consulting business. I am honored to have Beverly as my colleague.

Chrissy Barth, MS, RDN, RYT Integrative and Functional Sports Dietitian, Scottsdale, AZ

Pretty sure I can't remember the last time I found a course that matched my interests so well and delivered such a lovely personal experience. Beverly made herself readily available and answered all my questions quickly and thoroughly - she wanted to make sure my experience was thorough and effective. The online course is set up efficiently and smooth. I have been incorporating the concepts into my own private practice with clients and am seeing very positive results. Grateful!

Jen Rabung, RD, RYT Clinical Pediatric Dietitian, Private Practice Dietitian and Yoga Instructor, Mechanicsville, VA

While working in private practice, I sought out professional supervision from Beverly to support me in care of patients with eating disorders. As we began, Beverly was very professional, organized and clear about expectations and the nature of supervision. During multiple sessions with another dietitian and I, Beverly resourced us diligently with tools for intake, assessment and monitoring. She also generously shared some of her own resources with us to fill gaps or to address potential pitfalls. In addition, we were introduced to to outside resources and tools that we could adapt for our own practice. Throughout the process of supervision, she listened very carefully to challenges being presented, and would ask guiding questions to help us to identify solutions at hand. I found her contributions to be insightful, warmly supportive and relevant to my practice. Beverly's wisdom from her own lived professional experience is truly a gift.

Sarah Thomsen Ferreira, MS, MPH, RD, CDN, IFNCP, CHWC Mindfully Nourished Solutions, Troy, New York

I have been using Beverly’s Private Practice Getting That Jumpstart Textbook in my Nutrition Entrepreneurship Course for ten years. She provides solid advice for nutrition professionals in an easy-to-follow format. The business plan template has been extremely valuable for my students, many of whom have gone on to open or enhance their nutrition businesses. The support materials Beverly has provided for the course has made it easier for me as an instructor. She has always been helpful in answering my questions in a timely manner. I highly recommend Beverly’s products. Her expertise as a nutrition professional and business owner shine through in her materials.

Tricia Silverman, RD, LDN, MBA, Instructor, Northeastern University Boston, MA

Beverly has both expert knowledge and clinical experience to share. She brings just the right amount of structure and compassion to her supervision.

Emily Camiener MPH RD, EC Nutrition Detroit, MI

Beverly Price has created a very informative and inspiring DVD on Reconnecting with Food. Bev has the professional depth of academic rigor from her nutritional and exercise traditional rigor and then nicely balances it with the "heart" of self-compassion and nurturing when she blends in her Yoga training. This is work you can confidently recommend to both the lay population and professional colleagues.

Matthew Taylor, PhD, International Association of Yoga Therapists Board President, 2009 Scottsdale, AZ

I attended Beverly's training in Jamaica many years ago and loved the approach so much that when I got home I opened my notebook containing 8 weeks of material for my Yoga for Mindful Eating series that I'd taught for a few years and tossed them into the trash. Then, when she offered another retreat at the Mago Retreat Center in Arizona, I leapt upon the opportunity to get an update. I was not disappointed. Beverly's approach is sound, yoga philosophy-based, and encouraging and I've had many, many great years leading workshops from her highly skilled trainings. If you work with clients with disordered eating in any way, this kind, compassionate and clear approach is not to be missed.

Diana Dugan Richards, RDN, LDN Namaste' Nutrition - Watertown, MA

Thank you so much for a beautiful and memorable experience. I genuinely appreciate the opportunity to receive all that you have to give and the spirit of community that you brought to the group. I feel as if I have many treasures to share with others and that each woman in the group represents a jewel on my necklace of gratitude and love.

Mimi Rose, Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy Yoga Therapeutic Practitioner Charleston, SC

"Great teacher – kind hearted individual; very knowledgeable."

Core Learning Participant - Case Consultations

Consulting with Beverly gave me the confidence I needed to move forward in my career. Under her supervision, I was able to better support my clients walking through eating disorder recovery and expand my expertise as a nutrition professional.

Kati Mora, MS, RDN Mt. Pleasant, MI

The difference between a business owner and a SUCCESSFUL business owner is a matter of combining and operating through mind, body and spirit. Beverly gracefully leads you through the process of becoming a "new age" business owner, and before you realize it you are set up and confident enough to begin your journey. This manual is user friendly and a must-read. You will refer to it over and over.

Jacquelyn A. Pressly, RD Private Practice, Warren, OH

"Enjoyable! Liked opportunities to do experientials."

Private Practice, Getting That Jump Start Workshop is beneficial for students and interns to attend as it will provide them with practical information about starting a private practice or consulting company. They will be given the opportunity to explore their personal goals and useful tips will be given to begin the process of achieving those goals. Most nutrition programs do not provide business classes for students and most graduates do not understand the finance, management and marketing of a nutrition business. This course will provide them this much needed information and I would recommend it for all students and interns.

Christina C. Costa MS, RD, CNSD Director, Dietetic Internship program Teachers College, Columbia University

I definitely would recommend this course to others. I know more and more of young dietitians wanting to explore the private practice option, and would hope that more dietetic internships offer more experiences in this part of our profession.

Katie Serbinski, MS, RD Mom to Mom Nutrition, LLC, Detroit, MI

"I would recommend Beverly. Very knowledgeable. Very new and interesting concept to me."

Core Learning Participant - Mindfulness Yoga

Not only was the Mindfulness Yoga Training--Yoga therapy in Eating Disorders--a great economic value (CEUs for maintaining my RDN credential, CEUs for my RYT designation, and hours towards a yoga therapy credential) if was equally professionally & personally rewarding: it gave me the courage of my conviction to add 'mindful movement' to my private eating disorder practice while also deepening my own yoga & mindfulness practices. Beverly (& colleagues team teaching the training) are inspiring leaders and compassionate entrepreneurs!

Katherine Stephens-Bogard, RDN, CDE, RYT Integrative Registered Dietitian, Certified Diabetes Educator and Registered Yoga Teacher, Grand Junction, CO

Beverly Price has very accurately identified those issues that will de½ne the success or failure of a nutrition professional striving for success in the private practice/business arena. Whether the reader is in a start-up practice situation, expanding an established practice or seeking to develop a profit center within an organization or institution, this book provides insight, guidance and answers to common situations and pitfalls. Beverly’s casual, but no nonsense writing style, and creative use of automobile imagery is conducive to active reading and participation in the business and marketing assignments. This very clever approach to the intangible aspects of business sets this product apart from other, more formal attempts, to provide the same information.

Amanda Archibald, RD Arch Consulting and The Genomic Kitchen, Denver, CO

I feel more knowledgeable about subject, especially how to weave together. Found this more valuable than conferences offering individual/multiple sessions. Material built on a concrete plan with lots of ideas, experientials, and practice with case study for a solid plan. Training materials relevant and well organized.

Marilyn Dahl, RDN, MBA, CEDRD - George   Jacksonville Beach, FL

"The presentation and content is thorough, well organized, up to date, and helpful."
